About WyderNet

At WyderNet, we bring together deep technical expertise and a passion for structured data to create tools that are powerful, sustainable, and easy to work with. We’re not just building one-off solutions—we’re developing a platform that evolves with the needs of the cultural and knowledge sectors.

Ian Ibbotson

Principal Consultant – Libraries & Data Projects
Ian has led the technical development of major sector initiatives like KB+ and GOKb, shaping how libraries manage and share data at scale. At WyderNet, he brings that same pragmatic, detail-focused approach to every feature—and keeps the kettle on.

Outside work, Ian is active in the Sheffield data-for-good community and occasionally ventures into martial arts.

Rob Tice

Product Manager & Technical Architect
Rob is the mind behind CIIM and Lexaurus, with deep roots in metadata, collections, and controlled vocabularies. At WyderNet, he ensures the platform is both technically sound and user-centric.

Rob’s personal archive of vinyl records is legendary—not just in volume, but in metadata quality. It’s alphabetized, genre-tagged, and lovingly maintained. You’ve been warned.

Built for the Sectors We Know and Love

WyderNet is a flexible platform built to help libraries, museums, archives, and educational institutions unlock the full potential of their collections and data.

Born out of years of experience working with cultural and research institutions, WyderNet is a natural evolution of our mission: to bring structured data, rich collections, and interoperable tools to life. Developed by the team at Knowledge Integration Ltd (K-Int)—a trusted consultancy with a long history of delivering high-impact systems—WyderNet is backed by deep cross-sector expertise.

From library metadata to museum curation systems, our solutions have supported some of the world’s most forward-thinking institutions.

WyderNet is designed to be as adaptable as the organizations we serve. If your collections could benefit from better structure, visibility, or management, we’d love to talk.
